Preparing for Procedure in the Dominican Republic

Before traveling to the Dominican Republic, foreign patients should have a blood count done and sent to doctors to determine if they have adequate hemoglobin levels for whichever surgery they are receiving.

As doctors, knowing the weight, age, past medical history, personal pathological history, and use of any medications is essential for a successful and safe procedure. If a patient needs any medical treatments done to correct any unfavorable health conditions, they must do so before arriving to the Dominican Republic. This is to avoid any delays in the main procedure the patient wants to have.
